NPower is a platform that the Nigerian government created to absorb the large population of her unemployed youths. It is the National Social Investment Programme of the Federal Government of Nigeria to empower and create jobs. In addition, the program is for Nigeria citizens between 18 and 35 years of age. This post gives you all the information you need to know about NPower Nigeria, including its programs and application process.
What is NPower?
The Federal government of Nigeria started the NPower program in August 2016 with the focus of reducing the country’s high unemployment rate. Recognizing that skills and knowledge are the driving forces of economic growth and social development, NPower has also set out to promote skills development. The program is also connected to the Federal Government’s policies in the economic, employment and social development arenas. While providing a structure for the acquisition of large scale and relevant work skills the program also links its outcomes to fixing inadequate public services and stimulating the larger economy. NPower’s standard programs ensure that each participant acquires the skills necessary to find or create work. The program is structured into the graduate and non-graduate category. The NPower Volunteer Corp, which is the graduate’s category program of NPower, aims to deploy 500,000 trained graduates. These graduates will assist in improving the country’s public services inadequacies in education, health, and civic education. Some of them will also help in actualizing Nigeria’s food security and self-sufficiency aspiration. The program will also create an avenue for diversifying the economy. Youths that NPower Nigeria trains will not only have world-class skills and certification but also become innovators and movers in the domestic and global markets. In addition to agro, health, educational, and tax professionals, NPower recruitment will also create a pool of creatives. You stand a better chance of selection after passing the aptitude test. The best way to pass the NPower aptitude test is to practice with the NPower Past Questions and Answers. Download it HERE. NPower calls for physical verification at a point in the recruitment process. This is usually after the aptitude test when they have selected qualified candidates. If you get selected, ensure to show up at the physical verification center — at the designated date. The purpose of the physical verification exercise, however, is to fish out candidates with false documents. Therefore ensure to register with the correct and original birth certificates, School Leaving Certificates, state of origin, etc.
NPower Test Assessment Date
After the NPower registration is the aptitude test and this test is a Computer Based Test (CBT). NPower doesn’t spring up the test date impromptu. If there is a better time for such information to spring up, it is August 2021 and not July. The above picture is evidence from NPower that the Assessment date for the NPower 2021 Batch C is not out yet. So, rather than spend your energy on spreading this false info, channel it to completing your NPower registration and practicing for the CBT.
