University of Johannesburg Prospectus

In order to gain access to a faculty and study under a specific program, applicants are required to possess the appropriate combination of a recognized National Senior Certificate (NSC) or an Independent Examinations Board (IEB) subjects. Also, a certain level of achievement in these subjects as set out in this prospectus must be met. Applicants who have not written the National Senior Certificate or Independent Examinations Board final examinations, but fall in any of the categories listed below will be referred to the faculties of their choice for the faculty-specific selection: Requirements for the ACE School of Tomorrow include,

a National Certificate Vocational (NCV) NASCA, ASC N3/N4/N5/N6 results, and any other final school-leaving certificates not aforementioned.For PsyCaD evaluation, conditional admission is based on the final Grade 11 results. But, final admission is based on the final Grade 12 results.

The earlier an applicant applies, the more likely it is that they will be accepted into the University of Johannesburg Residence. Once an applicant registers, a reference/student number will be issued to them. This student number will be used to investigate bursaries that may cover each student’s studies.

How to apply for a Paper-based Application Process at the University of Johannesburg

Thabo Mvuyelwa Mbeki, born on the 18th of June 1942 is a South African politician who served as the second President of South Africa from 14 June 1999 to 24 September 2008. He received an honorary degree from the University of Johannesburg in 1999.

Kornelis Antonie “Kees” Schouhamer Immink, born on the 18th of December 1946 is a Dutch scientist, inventor, and entrepreneur.
